Study: Petroleum Geology and Potential
of the Amu-Daria Basin
Wavetech's
newly completed (2008) study of the Amu-Daria basin is an overview of a
hydrocarbon rich basin that features several giant fields and rapidly
developing plays which offer the probability of additional world-class
discoveries. The study covers the region in a
comprehensive, data-rich format, from an exploration perspective.
Supporting
the study is the most extensive collection of geological and seismic data on
the basin that can be found anywhere. More than 26,000 km of seismic
data are available throughout the basin, along with information on over 260
wells, including logs, test results, core descriptions and production data.
